windows 7 burn ISO file opinions please

Post #1 by dren » 5 years ago

I have always used Nero to burn. I have only used windows once, and it had disk errors.

I have an ISO to burn and was wondering what you thought of letting W7 do the job.
I should just do it but was wondering your opinions on what W7 is capable of now.
stick with Other programs that have proven to do a good job?
W7 home AMD Quad core 4G Ram 64bit
burner TSST corp CDDVDW TS-L633Y ATA Device
thanks

I believe windows 7 burning is OK. However I use IMGBURN. It's simple and it's free.

same here

though we did get some liteon dvdrw drives at the office, burns kept failing with both windows and imgburn. had to upgrade the firmware on the drive to get a good burn...

I was a Nero fan for ages (after Roxio's Easy CD Creator became so bloated) but it too succumbed to trying to be all things to all people and got far too bloated.

I moved to ImgBurn for most of my burning but I use Alcohol from time to time.

It's been a while since I've burnt a CD/DVD, but I used to use ImgBurn and it always worked for me. Between both of my PCs, I don't know if I even have a CD/DVD drive hooked up in either of them anymore

You used to be an Roxio's Easy CD Creator type when I was as I remember. Then you too moved to Nero.

Time now to move to ImgBurn
