time for a upgrade

cpu :AMD Ryzen 1700 8 core
mb :Asus Prime x370 Pro
cooler :Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 120
mem :Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-17000 2133MHz
hd : ssd 240gb kingston hyper x
gfx :still using me old 960 4gb

Cool Rig M8. It will be good to hear your opinion on the AMD Ryzen. So far I can't tear myself away from Intel except for a Home Theater Box I built (and never seem to use :lol:) .

My next build will probably be a Gamer Box for my youngest son. He works full time now so he gets the joy of paying for it. Still, we will wait for the Black Friday Sales that occur in November; the day after the US Thanksgiving. That is typically the lowest cost of the year around here. :rolleyes:

am a intel fan boy alway buy intel but through have change there is load raving how good ryzen is and it cheaper and u get 8 cores and u can over clock to 3.9 or 4.00 mhz
will post back when ive messed about more but for now looking good am happy with it... was look at the intel i9 gee very expensive...

Well after month or more using it am well please with it lot better now asus updated the bios overclocked to 3.9.25 on all 8 cores so pritty quick
playing games are good too no probs at all......
