i think im going to have to go back and watch it again
it came out when i was somewhat down on the recent movies (as i get from time to time and continually moving toward foreign films that arent remakes of movies that were somewhat popular in the 50-80's being remade, as are about 1/3 of new movies)

but its Tarantino (violence and carnage) and Rodriguez (desperado series, spykids 3d) director combo, and based on the comic / graphic novel by frank miller

i have never read the graphic novell or ever seen it, but its like the movie; mainly all in Black and white (not greyscale - but pure contrast, including faces) w/ splotches of color for eyes, lips, clothing, etc as required for effect. there is something that you notice real fast - there is no red blood, its either white or black (depending on the background that its being shown on) and that is really cool and, atleast for me, really made it not even violent or graphic; even though the content was

will i get it on dvd, probably - just b/c im a whore for Tarantino movies

Ace film, like freonchill i luv tarantino, will be buying it on dvd def....1 disc ver, 2 disc and special edition...lol. ive seen it 4 times now and will prob watch it again just for the hell of it.
