as i found their widescreen/HD section about a month ago and grabbed all the ones i liked (and still remember some of them i just saw on the above link)

i am actually suprised there hasnt been more of a push into the 16:9 LCD monitors for PC use, im sure they are available but admittedly i have never seen one in action.

just wait till they actually enforce the hdtv regulation here in the states (in theory everything in stores has to be hdtv by jan 1, 2006) and w/ the integration and combination of laptops, computers, dvd players and tv's, it will all come together (hopefully)

though pretty much any "top of the line" laptop comes in 16:9 (16:10 probably) ratio while smaller and lower end models are still 4:3 and a lot are still 1024x768 (which i couldnt stand, but then again, the last time i ran that res was 99, and wow i hate it when i use it on most clients machines (especially when i look @ a webpage and i have to scroll to read the front "page"))

way to make me feel good about the laptop i just bought lol (refurb HP Pavilion). 1024x768 is enough for me to use when away from the desktop, it's *just* bareable to me. But i couldn't run it full time, 1600x1200 on both desktop systems at home.

yea, thats the widescreen spec thats just over DTV (720i/p) that most smaller (under 30") LCD's are 1366x for their resolution
