The anchorman posts are filling up the screen when I want to see the new posts - anyway I can block its posts from appearing when I want to see the new posts.

no, i know exactly what he means. any way to NOT show the neowin rss feed when viewing new posts?

i don't care for them at all, i go to neowin for neowin's news.

hmm, I made a change that might help out. Let me know if you notice any difference or not, I can't really test it out myself until more rss news articles are posted.

There's an ignore list in usercp, seems like it might block all posts from specific users but i've not tested it.

Ok - gonna block Anchorman - or ignore him - hopefully that will work. Thanks for the suggestion.

It doesn't work. The new posts still show up, you just can't see the content of the posts.
Do you guys really dislike the rss news feeds that much? I never really got much feedback on them until now, so I didn't know if you wanted them or not.

i like the theory of rss feeds, but i get mine from the source 99% of the time
its nice to see the same article hit by hardocp, slashdot, and cdfreaks all in a 6hr period

It isn't so much the feeds that I dislike - it is just that guy the Anchorman - he makes me feel inferior with his Johnny on the spot posting abilities. I think he is just tryin' to show out a bit.

Really I just would like to be able to somehow block those posts from showing up when I click on "New Posts" - it is just alot to sort through - It has it's own subforum or whatever if I want to check them I can look there.
