dude...try using a smaller ap(higher value) say.....4 or so...@ 2.8 you're getting a SUPER small DOF. Your focal length here is 87.6 in 35mm eqiv so you must be getting pretty close to these lil guys!!!!:ninja::ninja::ninja:. A narrow DOF(depth of focus) WOULD work wekk for these images, EXCEPT that it's not focusing where you want it to....the detail is in perfect focus elsewhere than the main subject at times. Can you pick a focal point with that kyocera? AS i said before...good work, keep throwing more our way! Is there a way to change the metering on that bad boy? if so, try to meter off of the darkest part of the bug and see what happens.
