Just finally found some time in front of the box here to get at some of the lot from the 10th.

I have this strange attraction to the red golfs...perhaps it's the red....

White civics seem to make my highlight reel a lot also

Yea...I played with pan shots pretty much most of the time I was there...couldn't stay too long tho...but fun as usual if not a little smaller of a turnout as I'm used to seeing.

I have another 150 or so to be processed...see if I get more keepers out of that lot, if I find any worthwhile I'll post a link to the gallery.

hehe it looks like fun, but it would be a bit of a head spin driving a FWD car after driving a RWD car for 12 yrs :)
cheers :) :)

well it's all from speed!:) I didn't add the blur in photoshop after the fact, just panned with them. I'm still getting the hang of panning, but the results are getting better, and worth the work.

When i say I'm panning, I'm lowering the shutter speed to 1/50th of a second or lower and setting a LARGE aperture so that the picture isn't completely washed out. Then you move the camera with the vehicle..but you have to be retarded quick, and also..you CANNOT move the camera up and down, just side to side or it's gonna be blurry vertically and horizontally, in other words, just a mess. you have to try to match the speed of the object you're panning with, or else it'll be blurry also, too slow-blur, too fast, blur again, up and down..you guessed it..blur. give it a try on cars driving down the street sometime.
