Valve rep confirms that Gordon Freeman and cohorts are coming back in Half-Life 2: Aftermath.

PC Gamers rejoice--Half-Life 2 is getting its first expansion. Valve Software has confirmed that Half-Life 2: Aftermath is in the works, and will make an official announcement with details on the game in the coming weeks.

there was a rumor that you would be able to play other characters, such as alyx, in the addon/sequal...

but personally, i would have to say even w/ the whole BS regarding the "pirated" alpha release of the game - that the story line was WAY too short, and they should have put a second storyline (a la expansion: aftermath) in the game also

oh well, guess im just a bit cross b/c i got the collectors edition ($80) and all i got was this stupid t-shirt...
no, but seriously, the game didnt even take 24hrs to beat!?

Yer i read today that Aftermath will be here by the end of the year. I think that HL2 had a very strange ending, i loved the game, just didnt like the ending. :rollseyes:
