I watched this on thursday, and really enjoyed it. I remember in 'Freedom Downtime' there where protests about this being released due to the depiction of Mitnick in the movie. After watching i think they showed him as a technology enthuiast rather than an evil cracker. But i'll have to watch freedom downtime again soon, as i can't remember the full story behind the protests. Worth a watch definately.

it is dated for 2000, and thats when i saw it, but to my knowledge, it has never been released in the theatres (unless it his the art/foreign film theatres), or was released on DVD or VHS, in the US...

ok, i take that back
they have released it under various names, making it hard to find

its funny, b/c even the image (in theory, movie poster, but in reality probably the dvd cover) says Track Down rather than Take Down

and the dvd is PACKED FULL of NOTHING
stereo sound, color
guess that means you dont have to watch stupid commericals before the movie (as is almost demanded on most dvds released in the last year)
