read vs un-read

it might just be because i use OPERA...

but everytime ive read all the topics in a group and go back to the main forum home, that forum group is still listed as un-read unless i go back and see that its all empty and go back to the main forum page and then it is listed as all read.

is anyone else having a read/un-read issue or is it just me?

I find that i read all the posts then it still says there are x new posts, but when i click 'new posts' it lists them but without the new posts icon.
Not a problem at all though, phpbb used to do something similar.

yea, im in the computer lab on campus today
using firefox 1.0

Using IE6 here and its not doing that for me which is ok by me. seem to recall i had this problem with the old board at one time. I have a suspicion that its a windows problem cause i have a fairly new installation of windows and all the places i visit that have that function enabled work properly. lets hope i havent spoke too soon
