will this board support amd athlone xp , or just AMD Athlon?64 chips. ?

I do need a new mother board real bad.
my back up gigabyte mother board that was brand new out of the box. does not work.
I have had it in a back brand new for about two yrears now. pulled it out the other day to make a new box for my suse 9.2 and later 9.3 pro.
after installing it and getting everything set up. It will not boot , and will not give no beeps. ? I think its bad.

or if you have any other mother boards you need to get rid of or know of anyone that may have a extra.
I am in need of one.
thanks.
