Firefox 1.0.2 is a security and stability update that is part of our ongoing program to provide a safe Internet experience for our customers. We recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version.

Just updated to the new version and someone has put a rocket up it's arse, it was always fast but now it's has extra wizzzzzz.......

I've used firefox for a while now, think its much better than IE 6

there is also this little program that allows you to adjust some general options to tweak firefox for your computer and connection for the best speed

you can also do a search on google
there are a couple of about:config options you can change if you have broadband/wireless that will help you get the best possible configuration
not to mention this upcoming extension to fix that new breed of pop-ups/pop-behinds that have proliferated the net, yet again

Well im gunna say this, i prefer IE6 over firefox for sure, i have tried it and have gone back to IE. IE i find is quite substantially quicker at rendering webpages then Firefox, the only plus i find with Firefox is the tabbed pages, this is a great idea and from what i read IE7 will have tabbed wondows aswell. I cant wait :)
