Have you ever seen Kolobos? Its one trippy low budget horror movie but for some reason it just appealed to me on some base level... dunno what it was but I really enjoyed it.

yea - i got it to see if i was worth getting this week
i would have to say that sam raimi has really SLACKED OFF
but then again - his first forte into horror - evil dead, i found to be completely FUNNY, but not scarey
guess thats the problem

this is a remake, so i'm thinking he didn't have the option of making it "good".
I have to agree The Grudge was an awful movie! What a waste. I did like Hide and Seek though.........

he could have made the horror or gore scenes more GRAPHIC
SPOILER...
the part on the stairs when yoko's face fell off was all quick and playdough looking - completely weak in my opinion
i guess my original point was that i was a Japanese movie and should have been more graphic - have you seen "ichi the killer"
now thats GRAPHIC

Don't think it was that bad was a bit creepy in places "well not many" but still ok only thing i didn't like was the ending, was over a bit to quick for me....If you wanted something to shit the life out of you there was a programme on ITV2 the other night about people who had taped ghosts with the camcorders "shit the life out of me" could only watch about 10 Min's before i was behind the sofa.... :o
